    The eyes of the viewer should always be drawn towards the hero subject of the image which can be achieved by mindfully applying compositional theories.

  • Color scheme

    Colors evoke different emotions and moods and by choosing the right colors for your imagery, you will bring the viewers closer to the story you seek to tell. With the main color of your product in mind, analogue, monochrome or complimenatry colors will emphasize on allowing the subject to pop to create interest.

  • the scene

    Setting an authentic scene for your visual story has a powerful impact on your viewer’s perception. Maybe you want to frame a gathering table with elements such as hands? Or is it a mindful cooking process you want to frame?

    The backdrop and props used in the image should be chosen to support your visual story, not to take away from the main subject. For that reason, the color, shape and texture of the props I use are predominantly neutral.
